The Whole Kit and Caboodle

An overview of the beautiful new paper lines at Close to my Heart.

Australia and New Zealand stamps

Close to my Heart products are sold in Australia and New Zealand as well as in the US and Canada.  There are a few stamp sets specific to those areas that are not featured in the US/Canada catalogues.  These stamps are still available for order by North American customers.

There are so many cute stamps that reflect the animals, landscape and expressions of our friends Down Under.  They are great for documenting a trip to Australia, New Zealand or the local zoo, as well as being simply great stamps all around.

The stamps from the Australasia line include:
Australian Salutations C1585 – detailed and realistic stamps of a koala, kangaroo, emu and one other native Australian bird, along with the sentiment “Greetings from Down Under”
Australian Thanks C1586 – detailed floral & fauna stamps with Australian expressions and friendship sentiments
Happy Birthday D1597 – an adorable birthday stamp with cute kangaroos, crocodiles and koalas
New Zealand Greetings D1601 – elegant animal and landscape images along with friendly sentiments
Outback Adventure D1596 – a fun, tattoo or batik looking stamp set with kangaroo, boomerangs, sea turtle and iguana images –also includes sentiments “Outback Adventure” and “Those who lose DREAMING are lost”

Lollydoodle cards

Workshops on the Go Lollydoodle Cardmaking Kit

I made the first three cards based on the kit instructions but with slight alterations and personalization....

If you follow the instructions, you can make 15 cards total - 5 of each of the 3 designs.

I have made 7 cards so far, and still have lots of supplies left to make more.

Card #4 – I stamped the border of the card using Pear and Lagoon inks (first and second generation stamping).

Paper – Lollydoodle , Lagoon cardstock
Ink – Lagoon & Pear
Stamps – Butterfly, “dream” phrase and “all things are possible to those that believe” phrase from Dreamer set (B1439); spiral images from Hostess Rewards Stamp Enjoy the Little Things (B1451)

Card #5 – Rectangles created using Lollydoodle paper (both sides).  Thin strip of paper made from Lagoon cardstock.

Ink – Hollyhock, Lagoon, Cocoa
Stamps – “I love you” phrase, heart image and fox image from February Stamp of the Month Wild About Love (S1402)
Accessories – Sequin Dots

Card #6 – To give dimension to some of the flowers attach with foam.

Paper – Lollydoodle with Lollydoodle zip strip
Ink – Lagoon, Cotton Candy, Juniper, Sorbet, Cocoa
Stamps -  flower images and “Enjoy the little things” phrase from Hostess Rewards Enjoy The Little Things (B1451)

Card #7 – Paper dolls - The clothing is not permanently attached, the paper doll tabs are hooked around the girl's body.  The girl image is attached with foam tape to give dimension and to allow space to attach the clothing.
